The possibility to get a share in something out of Lefkas has suddenly arisen but would be there mostly in summer school holidays.
I've heard the stories of how busy it is...is it really as hot, windless and rammed as people suggest? I thought about following a flotilla around one day behind and...
I do love the broads, thinking of adding a little Hunter 19 to the fleet to keep there, mostly to do the 3 rivers race with.
Can only work if can store it for buttons though, already paying enough for the other 3.
I'm guessing The Q will have some ideas.

Newish Co32 with some "interesting" fitout choices.
How much has the original owner lost on this in 12 years, 100k easily and hard to imagine anyone...
Just got a new alternator with a coveted W terminal so then I thought great, now I can fulfil a lifetime ambition of having a tachometer.
Except I'm struggling to find one, preferable 52mm up to 4000rpm. ASAP only seems to have huge expensive ones, 85mm.
Doesn't have to be alternator driven...
Easy starter for 10 for someone here I'm sure.
Can you identify what each of the terminals here are, and is one of them the elusive W terminal for a tacho?
Further to my post yesterday about a water leak, the culprit turned out to be this grey cap that popped off the right hand side below the first injector. Seems to be just a case of tapping it back in but should I use some sort of glue or sealant?
I have some hylomar blue to hand if that would...
Just fired up the engine to test it for the first time since last year and water is spurting out around the side. The water hoses are looking a bit sad so may as well change them all.
Is there a spec for the hose? I see some individual hose parts for high prices but would something like this...
Making some new boards as the old ones are manky and stink.
What to coat with? The various floor varnishes from Screwfix etc appeal for their simplicity of application but not sure about longevity.
Only recently came across this, a plan for a new marina in Ramsey, Isle of Man:
Ramsey Marina – Ramsey Bay Marina
I do hope it goes ahead, this would make a big difference for yachties in the area, no other all tide marinas for miles.
I'm normally a sea sailor but I do have a soft spot for the Norfolk Broads either by sail or power. I was perusing boats for sale and came across this:
Heritage 35
Now I'm not a boat builder but I have hired a couple of cruisers on the broads and they are just heavy fibreglass shells with...
Stumbled upon this last night, the story of Australia taking the 83 AC from Dennis Connor, as told by the wining skipper:
Watch Untold: The Race of the Century | Netflix Official Site
Very enjoyable.
Why did winged keels then die out. Discuss.
Does anyone know if this is still going? Its the big green shed to the left of Bangor pier looking from the mainland.
I called in yesterday afternoon but it was closed up and no sign of life.
I had a mooring here 20 odd years ago when it was run by a pleasant chap called Jonathan Evans. I...
So a trimaran capsized yesterday and obviously the RNLI were on hand to rescue the crew but I wondered what happens now to the boat.
Will the CG just arrange for it to be towed somewhere and send the owner a bill or will it be left to bob about until the traumatised owner gets on to his...
On my various visits to Cowes over the years a highlight has always been a trip to Mojacs for their magnificent food and reasonably priced wines.
Word has reached me that the restaurant has been sold over the winter and that things are not what they were. I wish the new owners well but has...
We haven't talked about Leo for a good while but the latest video has been a real eye opener. There are now 9 people working on it, all paid, not including Leo. Including the cost of renting that huge yard space he must be looking at an absolute minimum 30,000 USD per month in costs.
Then he's...
