Is it possible to connect a Quantum Radar Scanner to a E120 MFD.

I note it has a Sealtalk HS socket on the back which looks like an RJ45 plug to me.

I have a Quantum to e7 touch via wifi, and reading the manual the radome is not compatible with any version legacy products including the C120 or its variants. This is due to the C120 not being able to process the digital information from the Quantum.

No, it is only compatible with Pathfinder analogue radars. If you send it the digital signal from a Quantum the poor thing won't know what to do with it!

Ah, so I am guessing the Seatalk HS socket is for earlier digital radomes.

I am on my 3rd RD218, and looks like this one is duff now too.

We had an older model digital RD424 Raymarine Radar unit fitted to our E140w MFD. That same Radar is compatible with our new Axiom MFD
