@ironmaiden where is the boat? I ask because I know of a surveyor that lives on the Algarve and he can do an in the water tonnage survey for Part 1 reg, so no need to haul out for the survey.
There's another very annoying thing about dogs on boats. When someone/a fisherman/whatever goes by, the dog starts barking and within seconds, all the dogs on boats join in, with no idea why or what they're barking at. And that just ruins the peace and tranquility of a quiet anchorage.
