    I have exactly the same problem, I'm told it is due to corrosion. I now refill the gearbox using a syringe to get the correct amount of oil in.

    I have so many wires connected to my house battery +ve, including two from different sets of solar panels, and one from a mains charger. Can I join any or all three of these before connecting to the battery or do they all need to terminate individually?

    My Cointra gas water heater is great! No pilot flame and not balanced flue, just exhaust flue. Fitted three years ago by marine gas engineer.
