I had one these on my coronet, which originally started off with petrol engines. It’s a “gas” sensor, but not sure if that’s as in gas/ gasoline/ petrol or lpg. It connects to a swinging needle meter. I can’t remember the name of it or whether it worked or not .Hope that helps.

The issue with the work “done” was after fitting both drives and relaunch, first drive after less than an hours use wasn’t engaging immediately, instead after 15 -20 seconds. It gave up completely on its trip to D.B.

From personal experience, barge poles spring to mind. Don’t be fooled by the warranty, especially if your boat needs to craned out of the water.
