Do the plotter based (almanac derived) streams take into effect coefficient? Keep meaning to check whether they are just based on mean or are biased by the coefficient.

100 Magic Miles by David and Carolyn Colfelt - the definitive guide to the Whitsunday Islands

There is a very convenient landing in Tongue Bay and a (well trodden) pathway up to the lookouts.

    GPS jamming

To reassure non aviators, modern aircraft nav displays fix position from a variety of sources apart from GPS, ie internal IRS (inertial reference system) and ground based DME (distance measuring equipment). There has been reliance on GPS only to reduce separation over the Atlantic but over...

100 Magic Miles by David and Carolyn Colfelt - the definitive guide to the Whitsunday Islands

100 Magic Miles by David and Carolyn Colfelt is the definitive guide to sailing around the Whitsunday Islands. Bought ahead of our recent holiday there but the charter company provided a marked up copy on the boat so we used that. Latest (14th edition) in mint condition with hard wearing pvc...

Don't forget to set a more sensitive sector so you don't bump into the coffee table! now anchored in the office with a current position 10m away from the anchor at 144deg in the front garden Nice 5-6x scope assuming you're 1.9m tall :ROFLMAO:

    Navionics-am i missing something?

Yes, it uses GPS, see home page. It would be very difficult to get an accurate mobile fix on the sea (worse triangulation between base stations). Anchor Lite works without any mobile signal in my experience anchoring in bays in the Whitsundays. I also use "set advanced distance" which allows...

I'd be highly suspicious of a company with thousands of five star reviews on Trustnet almost all by people who've only ever left one review. Holafly is rated "Excellent" with 4.6 / 5 on Trustpilot

First time new route to boat.

Great news that you're sorted, but I find it irritating that we have to pay a supplement for people to do their job efficiently. Airports should be ashamed of themselves packaging up "fast track" like some kind of first class service. Someone sent me a letter by second class post the other day...

First time new route to boat.

TUI fly to PVK from a couple of UK airports. I expect you could also fly them from inside the EU to PVK but you'd need to check their website as their flights, being a charter co, don't show up on the search engines like Skyscanner or Google Flights. We used them to get to Skiathos last year...
