Is there any problem removing the old Propspeef before you reapply a new coat ?

I haven’t got a good hi res photo...I’m not on the boat so I gleaned this off the internet It’s dripless and appears to have its own water supply...so I know it could be controversial

Just out of interest.....Americans seem to like this product Pettit | Prop Coat Barnacle Barrier Apparently it’s a lot easier to recoat than Propspeed....anyone got any idea where such a thing could be found in France ?

This is something I normally wouldn’t bother with...but last night someone on tv was putting it on a superyacht.....I know that that is no comparison to my humble boat....and I might as well worry about what they use on an aircraft carrier...but it got me to thinking....and today the prop is all...

I often think about that with cars…we keep reams of paper work with all sorts of personal data..and then hand them to the new owner…this stuff can follow the car it’s whole life until it’s shipped to (say) West Africa to start its life again

You could get an engine survey and oil analysis....but only after they have accepted in principle a reasonable offer

There are lifting marks on the hull.....I couldn’t find them in any photo....but tomorrow I will look for them and let you know

Somewhere in the original article it talked about cheap imports...if the anode isn’t the right mix of alloys then it’s useless
