Looking for detailed information on the dimensions for Sidepower stern thruster external type. Spoken to one firm who fit them but had no idea of the dimensions or how much if any, of the motor section can be above the water line. Thanks

In common with many others I'm sure, we have a 3 way heater plug switch. Heat, center ( not marked) and Run. If I ever use it, switch down for a few seconds, back to center, engine starts, no problems. Have never switched to Run.
Should I run at"Run"?? Nice to know why. Or did they have a lot...
I need to cut a small hatch in the cabin floor for easier access to the sea cock. Only needs to be about 200 by 300 but I need to have a surround edge made. Ally or stainless. Can't find anyone. Can you help? Thanks
Looking to create a new hatch in the cabin floor to access the sea cock without lifting the carpet and big floor panel. Only needs to be about 300 X 200 so looking for a supplier for the stainless steel or alloy surround. Thanks
I'm aware that there are screen covers made of a " one way" type of material, but is there such a thing that would allow use whilst motoring along? The ones I have seen are not clear enough for use. Thanks
Looking for 10 what I call fender hooks. So basically like a meat hook shape but with a fixing to go round the 22mm deck rail. Can't find them anywhere. Thanks
Have seen a few posts very recently saying that a"large" number of the locks have been unmanned? Not posted here, just that other place. Any one else found this?
Asking for a friend ?
Thinking seriously about fitting one of the many internal cctv type cameras for a bit of extra security. Loads available. Have permanent WiFi available and shore power. YooSee seems to be the best free app and all for about 50 quid. Any suggestions. Legal and sensible only please ?
Just had several bad cracks repaired by Gary Crowther of Gelnshine. Big area of star cracking on the bathing platform, all repaired faultlessly. Extremely competitive price, perfect colour match.
Absolutely no personal connections. And he traveled from Colchester Essex to Reading. Great job...
I have a 2kw twin thermostat Immersion heater which could do with replacement. Any ideas for a supplier? Asap are the only ones who seem to have the type. Tried the original manufacturer but£165 for an Immersion heater is silly. Thanks
When we bought our new to us Broom, the survey indicated that the seal between the hull and deck should be" changed" at some point. The easiest way to do this would be to turn the boat upside down! Clearly not an option. Cutting the sealant out in itself is a real job and I wonder which mastic...
Our QL bow thruster of 1997 vintage is just" whirring". I suspect that the shear pin is gone, but initially would like to know if I can remove the motor without the boat sinking! I have the manual but no information except a diagram.
Any thoughts....... only good ones ? thanks.
I'm in a state of shock! Having said we must be mad to think we might be able to get on the newly renovated mooring at Tesco at 2pm on Saturday...... not only did we manage it, we were the only boat there. I had to come back to the boat and have a lay down in a darkened room. And to top that...
