I posted this on reader to reader at the beginning of the year and now winter in coming thought may be of interest.
We all know that in the winter months arriving at the boat can be freezing and take 40 minutes to warm up so is nice now to be able to turn the heater on an hour before we arrive...

It's that time for new boat covers and in the past I've used C&J who's covers seem to be highly recommended and possibly the best but not cheap. Is there anyone else I should consider before giving the go ahead or please just put my mind at rest that C&J are the place to go.

It's time to change the mattress in our front cabin as it's getting a bit lumpy, so the question is.... Rather than pay the expense of getting one made to measure can I just buy a memory foam mattress and cut it myself?

Saw this on a yacht at the weekend. Not seen one before an by the time I got my phone out and camera on it had be retracted so only got a picture of what it looks like 'in' rather than 'out'. Pretty impressive. I imagine that where drag makes a lot of difference it's a God send to yotties...
