It is really very simple - YOU HAVE A GHOST -- Most boats have one! it is the ghost that turns on the gas tap after it has definitely been turned off. Ditto sea cocks, ditto door locks, open windows etc..... Ours is called Veronica.

I have one in Essex that I no longer need -? Was planning on tidying it up and than asking around £90 for it

This gearbox came with our boat and was carried, on board, as a spare by the previous owner, for use with the Volvo Penta MD22A 60hp diesel. He cruised the Baltic extensively, often far away from civilisation and repair facilities. We have not needed to use it and have now put in a new engine...

Hi Folks, I have a faulty one of these and would like another to cannibalise, even a failed one, to see if I can get it working again.

This gismo is (was) on the wheelhouse roof of my Hardy River Pilot when I bought it. There are no electrical connections, the angle fore and aft is adjustable. looks as if something could slot on to it? Total height is around 5 inches Anyone know what it is?

Hi Zoidberg, thanks for the response, I am mainly concerned about the fitting - I already have one wheel with a totally wrong taper and too fat a hub. This is a good looking wheel! What is it's max diameter? Could you measure the taper if there is one? Thanks A.

Need a boat steering wheel - max 19ins / 48cm diameter - preferably traditional style - to fit standard Morse 3/4 in diameter taper shaft - anything considered.

Two new, unused (but old and dusty) 2m lengths of 40mm wide Genoa T-track. The top of the T is 8mm thick and the overall depth is 18mm. Holes are all the way through at 100mm centres. £35 each, collection only.
